I am Lisa and this blog is my creative place to journal my handmade work. I write mostly about my personal journey of sewing my clothes and figuring out exactly what is 'my style'! I enjoy sewing from a variety of patterns: Burda, NewLook, Ottobre Women's, Vogue, McCall's, Alabama Chanin and any and all of Yoshiko Tsukiori's Japanese sewing books. I usually make one or two quilts per year. There's a little knitting and crochet, but mostly a focus on sewing my clothes and learning new skills and techniques along the way. I also enjoy sharing the beautiful mountain area of South Carolina where I live with my husband and one, of my two, young adult daughters with my readers.
Thank you so much for stopping by and hoping you might find a little inspiration here to encourage you on your own handmade journey.
