For the past few years I've drooled over the entries to Lily Pad Quilting's 'Pets on Quilts Shows' and I'm thrilled to be able to participate this year with my 'Dog on Quilt' entry, below, to Lily Pad Quilting's Pets on Quilts Show 2014.
Our toy Maltese, Towa, all of her 6 pounds, resting on my recently finished quilt, wasn't sure
she felt like posing for the camera this morning no matter how hard
Melissa, my daughter, worked to make all sorts of goofy sounds and faces behind
me. Thank you Melissa for your help! It was a fun morning taking
Lily Pad Quilting, always has some kind of quilty fun going on. Thank you so much for hosting this fun show!
UPDATE 8.6.2014: Post on how this quilt was made can be found here
What a cutie pie your dog is. My last dog weighed in at 92 pounds. I can't begin to imagine a 6 pound pup, so sweet.ReplyDelete
Cute quilt and adorable Towa!ReplyDelete
I think my kitties are bigger than your pup! they are both well over 6 pounds!ReplyDelete
but your puppy is SO cute! where did you get the name Towa?
Oh my, Towa is so sweet!ReplyDelete
She's adorable! Mine won't cooperate for this show either.ReplyDelete
Love the belly rub pic! Thanks for sharing!ReplyDelete
Love the tummy shot! How can you resist that??? Towa is a cutie!ReplyDelete
She is tiny - I'd be scared of hurting her. Quilts are just the place for tummy rubs, not posing, I think:)ReplyDelete
Sometimes our furry companions just do not want to co-operate! Glad you persevered :)ReplyDelete
Never have that problem with Rusty. He loves the camera. My problem is keeping him out of some pictures :)ReplyDelete
She is very cute.
Very cute photo session!ReplyDelete
Towa is so cute!ReplyDelete
Towa looks like she is having a good time having her picture taken. Hugs, Susie xReplyDelete
What a sweet little thing!!ReplyDelete
Our charly is like that - I get lots of profile shots and eyes closed! You got there in the end!ReplyDelete
I like the belly rub pic. She deserved one after her posing.ReplyDelete
